Burnt Yellow Ochre is a beautiful, versatile earth color with a ruddy warmth falling between yellow ochre and burnt sienna. It is a wonderful portrait color with the light, transparent washes creating a range of glowing skin tones. On cold pressed or rough paper, it settles and granulates nicely.
