Pastelmat Paper for Pastels by Clairefontaine

Pastel adheres so well to Pastelmat that you don't need to use a fixative between each layer. You are able to multiply the layers without a saturation effect. Pastelmat offers a coarser surface than velour paper, but a softer surface than sand paper. The pads are bound with a sheets of glassine paper between each page to protect artwork.
