These pencils feature  Soft, extra-fine watercolor in pencil form. They are 100% water-soluble and have high pigment density and vibrant colors. This line of pencils offers exceptional lightfastness. They can be applied wet or dry. The entire pencil line has a consistant 8B hardness, something you won't find in most colored pencils.
