Caran d'Ache Neocolor I Artists' Crayons are a water-resistant wax pastel. They have excellent lightfastness and can be used on various materials: paper, cardboard, glass, wood, leather, fabric, stone, etc. Caran d'Ache Neocolor I Artists' Crayons are soluble in turpentine (spirits of turpentine). They can be used for encaustic. They can be combined with NEOCOLOR II Water-soluble crayons.

 Ten shimmering colors are packed into a convenient metal tin. Colors include Gold, Dark Gold, Bronze, Scarlet, Pink, Violet, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Silver, and Ash Gray.
